Private John George Fitzpatrick

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present.

Fitzpatrick enlisted in the North Irish Horse between 29 January and 12 April 1917 (regimental number between 2383 and 2388 – later Corps of Hussars No.71790).

In January 1918 he embarked for Egypt with a draft of North Irish Horsemen from the Antrim camp. There he was attached to the 1/1st Nottinghamshire Yeomanry (Sherwood Rangers). He was still serving as late as December 1919.
